My daughter and her friend went in to pizza max after night out on Wednesday 12 August 2026. They ordered a pizza and onion rings to the value of 23.50, they paid by card before they got their order, I was outside waiting to take them home. They never at any stage left the premises, when there was no sign of their order coming, they asked where it was, they were told that they had already got it, I had to get out of my car and demand they be given their food. Vulnerable young people after a night out should be very mindful of this takeaway.

I recently had an unfortunate experience with Pizza Max. I initially cancelled my order through the Just Eat app. Shortly after, the restaurant contacted me directly and informed me that the food had already been prepared and would go to waste. I explained that I had already been charged through Just Eat.

The restaurant assured me that the original payment would be fully refunded and asked me to make the payment again so the order could proceed. Based on that assurance, I paid a second time.

However, this resulted in me being charged twice, with the understanding that one of the payments would be refunded. I have provided receipts and transaction details as proof.

This situation has been stressful and disappointing. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves communication and refund handling to avoid similar issues for other customers.

Ordered pizza for collection, but their machine was broken and I had to sort it out myself. I didn’t get my order or a refund. Very poor experience
